What resources does OneGreatFamily offer to help me keep organized and further my research?

Many OneGreatFamily visitors have specific research needs that go beyond the resources currently available within OneGreatFamily. OneGreatFamily now provides links to some of the best services available. Such resources are this FREE genealogy newsletter from OneGreatFamily, "One Great Genealogy Site" Award winners, and OneGreatFamily Preferred Affiliates. We also offer other resources such as sites about ethnicity and religion, genealogy education, genealogical tours and travel, and family history libraries.
We also offer FREE genealogy tools such as our "Genealogy Names Alternates Look Up" and printable genealogy forms. The "Genealogy Names Alternates Look Up" tool allows you to look up differently spelled (but equivalent) first names or last names. It also allows you to request additional first name or last name alternate spellings that are not already listed.
Many of us like to have our records on our computer and also tangible records. Our new printable pedigree chart and family group sheet are now available for those who prefer to handwrite their genealogy, or desire to see their genealogy work in a tangible form. Each sheet allows you to enter specific, useful information. These forms now make it easier for you to keep organized.
OneGreatFamily is the only genealogy service that allows you to see your whole family tree at once. You can zoom in and out to view a portion of your family tree in more detail. There is also an option of printing your entire pedigree chart.

How do you use and access the new Family Group Sheet and Pedigree Chart?

As some members may have already noticed, new Family Group and Pedigree forms are available on our Genealogy Tools page at http://www.onegreatfamily.com/static-tpls/genealogy_tools.htm#forms.
These charts are available to allow you to store "hard copies" of
your genealogical data for quick reference off-line and to share with
others. The new Family Group Sheet contains fields for information
on each family member and about the family as a whole. The Pedigree
Chart records contain detailed information for three generations and
references to each sequential chart.
In order to utilize these forms, you must have Adobe Reader, Acrobat or Photoshop software. Adobe Reader is available to download for free at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
